Decorative Mailbox Corner Brackets

Our Gingerbread decorative corner brackets were the first product line we developed back in 2011. We live in a salt air environment on the Outer Banks with one of those wonderful wrap around Southern wood porches...that needs painting about every other year! LOL When it came time to re-paint, we started thinking poly wood...something that would last for years, take the beating of the sun, wind & salt air...and wouldn't have to be painted! In looking at the porch columns and porch railings, I wanted to add a decorative coastal flair to them. In historic towns like Beaufort NC, you see porch trim that is called Victorian gingerbread but that didn't fit with a beach style home on the water...my mind began to see mermaids, sea turtles, seashells etc. I went to the drawing board (literally) and sketched out what I saw in my head...We loved the detailed designs of our corner brackets but we weren't sure other people would...so we went to a show and sold out in 4 hours. Island Creek Designs was born.
Quality Design & Material:
Each of our corner brackets are made from a premium polywood, designed to last for 30 years in the sun & salt air.
We spent over a year researching the best polywood for harsh environments. Don't be fooled by inferior pvc's or polywoods that will warp, mildew, rust & deteriorate in short order...there are over 400 types and we selected the top of the line to resist against the effects of direct sunlight, salt air, and moisture & mildew. They arrive as white but can easily be painted to achieve the color of your choice. However, white adds a distinctive and clean flair to dress up any area of your home!
Most installations are 5 minutes with 2 stainless steel mounting screws.
Over the lifetime of ownership, enjoyment, & distinctive beauty they cost less than 1/10th of a PENNY a day...and they add architectural beauty to your home which equals high curb appeal and value.
Ideas For Places To Install Your Brackets:
Porches, railings, entryways, posts, garage area nooks, outdoor showers, garden areas, pool areas, decks, docks, sheds, windows or as privacy screens. They can also be easily adapted as shelf brackets or indoor window shutters.
